ToolForge is designed so most tools can run entirely in your browser. When a tool can process input locally, it does. We do not operate a V1 backend that stores your tool input.

Local processing

Developer and text tools such as JSON Formatter, JWT Decoder, Base64, URL Encoder, and similar utilities transform data on your device. Your content is not uploaded to ToolForge servers for those operations.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

ToolForge may display ads served by Google AdSense (or related Google advertising services). Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted.

Where required (for example in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), we use Google's consent messaging (Funding Choices / Privacy & messaging CMP). Personalized ads and related advertising technologies should only run after you make a consent choice where that message is shown.

Analytics

We may collect aggregate usage events (for example, that a tool was opened or a copy button was clicked). We intentionally avoid collecting the contents of your tool input.

Cookies and local storage

Essential preferences such as theme may be stored locally. Advertising partners may set additional cookies as described in the Cookie Policy and, where required, only after consent.
