Essential preferences

These help the site work and remember basic choices. They do not require advertising consent:

• Theme preference (light / dark / system), stored locally as site preference data
• Consent-choice storage set by Google's consent message (where shown), so we can remember your decision

When ads are enabled, Google AdSense and its partners may set cookies or use similar identifiers to:

• Serve ads on ToolForge
• Limit how often you see the same ad
• Measure ad performance
• Personalize ads where you have consented (or where personalization is otherwise allowed)

Consent (CMP)

For visitors in regions that require it (including the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), ToolForge uses Google's Funding Choices / Privacy & messaging consent management platform (CMP). You can choose Consent, Do not consent, or Manage options. Where required, personalized advertising should follow that choice.

Analytics

Our first-party analytics abstraction does not require a third-party cookie by default. If a third-party analytics vendor is connected later, this policy will be updated.

Managing cookies

You can clear site data from your browser settings at any time. Disabling cookies may reset preferences like theme and may affect how ads are shown.
